Uwe Boll, the man we all love to hate, is at it again, this time with yet another sequel to Bloodrayne. Not content with having pissed off so many gamers already, Boll’s crusade of making bad movie adaptations of videogames marches on with impunity. It seems the internet petition hasn’t worked yet. Maybe we all need to make a Facebook group?
I seriously doubt third time will be the charm for this particular franchise, but at least his movies have loads of riff potential.
Bloodrayne 3 is slated to begin filming in January and will be taking place during World War 2. Will Bloodrayne 3 be worse than the Twilight movies? I personally think so, but it’s going to be a pretty close call.
Uwe Boll, a man infamous amongst the gaming culture for his terrible film adaptations of video game titles, is currently hard at work producing… a video game. It’s called Tunnel Rats 1968, and it’s based on his upcoming movie about the Vietnam War. The title is set for release on Xbox 360 and PC.
Words fail me.
“Replay Studios, in Hamburg, developed the game with the Viet Cong engine,” Boll told Eurogamer recently, “They based it on my movie, and we delivered our script, screenshots et cetera to them. They also used the same composer.”
“I controlled the production, and I’m happy with the game,” he added.
Take a look and decide for yourself.
