Masters in the art of Googlefu will have noticed the celebratory images posted on the search engine today. Yes surprisingly enough it is 25 years since the release of the original Tetris – while we in the west didn’t get the game until 1986, the Soviet Union had it doing the rounds as early as June 1984.
You have to love Google for bringing in the most random of celebrations, although this is the only logo they have had that is borderline unreadable. Still, just shows how many of the Google staff are gamers in their own right!
