Blizzard has just announced that this year’s Blizzcon event, covering all things Blizzard-like, will (to the surprise of absolutely nobody) take place in the Anaheim convention center in Las Vegas in mid October.

Blizzard is at it again. After banning 5,000 Battle.net accounts for cheating in Starcraft 2, the developer filed suit in the Los Angeles US District Court last week against three men who created and distributed the Hacks that those dirty 5,000 used.

Starcraft 2 has managed to push its way to the top of the UK charts in its first week on sale, pushing Toy Story 3 off the No. 1 slot. It took a Zerg to take down Zurg. How’s that for irony?
