This one is sure to please the Street Fighter fans. Famitsu has just announced Adon, along with Final Fight’s Cody and Guy (looking like they did in Street Fighter Alpha 3) as playable characters in Super Street Fighter IV.
The scans from Famitsu show the characters in their Street Fighter IV interpretation. and they’re extremely faithful to their original designed, but updated for the HD generation.
Check them out below.
Capcom has just officially announced Super Street Fighter IV, an upgraded version of the existing game with a plethora of new characters and features.
The game will release as a stand-alone disc; this will not be DLC. The good news? It won’t be selling at full price, a good move on Capcom’s part which gives a strong incentive for existing owners of Street Fighter IV to pick up this improved edition of the game.
The game will include include eight characters (although this has yet to be finalised), including classic characters T. Hawk and Dee Jay, and new characters Juri. Who the other five characters will turn out to be is anyone’s guess, but fan favourites from Street Fighter Alpha (and at least one character from Street Fighter III) is a safe guess.
As long as they balance the game so that Sagat and Ken are no longer so over-powered as to be the only characters picked by 99.99% of the player-base, I’ll be happy.
The game is due for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 next spring. Excited?
