Publisher Focus Home Interactive has dropped a brand new trailer for their upcoming action RPG Mars: War Logs. Narrated by Jehanne Rousseau, the CEO of developer Spiders Studios, the overview trailer gives us a fairly decent glimpse at the action, story, conversation, customisation and adventure elements of the game and for a strictly downloadable effort, I think its shaping up pretty nicely. Mars: War Logs is set to release next month [...]
Its that time of the month again folks, as Sony has revealed the extent of the Instant Game Collection goodness that the Playstation Plus service will be bringing to European subscribers next month. Its perhaps not quite as face-shatteringly awesome as previous months, but its pretty good nonetheless with Hitman Absolution kicking everything off on May 1st alongside Deep Silver‘s dark puzzle adventure Catherine. On that same day, PS3 owners will also find the action [...]
Praise the sun! Sega has announced that its classic Genesis/Mega Drive Disney platformer, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, will receive generous lashings of HD paint when it gets re-released on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 sometime this summer. The remake of the 1990 classic, which will be a downloadable-only effort for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC, is being handled by Sega Studios Australia who will be working alongside [...]
Hoping to utterly to erase any and all taste of last year’s reveal of Splinter Cell: Blacklist‘s decidedly un-stealthy shenanigans, Ubisoft have released a new, stealth focused trailer for the game to remind everyone that the game hasn’t devolved into an insipid, third-person shooter. Rather than the in-game footage which has been released previously, this newest video instead frames Mr. Sam Fishers sneaky goings-on in a more cinematic style; showing off a [...]
The Knife of Dunwall, the single-player DLC for last year’s critical darling Dishonored, has received a gameplay trailer today courtesy of publisher Bethesda. Sticking players in the villainous shoes of the Daud, the titular assassin, it shows off not only the new locales that you’ll be murdering around in but also how your fellow AI companion assassins take care of business as well. Take a look.
“THE APOCALYPSE HAS HAD AN APOCALYPSE”, booms the gleefully OTT narrator on the debut trailer for Ubisoft‘s forthcoming Far Cry 3 spin-off, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Doused in 80′s sci-fi neon and a veneer of dodgy VHS effects, the game casts the player as one Sergeant Rex Powercolt (voiced by 80′s sci-fi icon Michael Biehn no less), who has the unenviable task of defeating a massive robot army hellbent on ending the [...]
Guess who’s back? Classic 90′s platformer Flashback is being given a new lease of life and a new lick of paint from Ubisoft who have today announced the HD remake for release on XBLA and PSN sometime later this year. Being chiefly led by original creator Paul Cuisset, developer VectorCell has rebuilt the game in 2.5D using the Unreal Engine. So don’t worry, the action will remain locked to the [...]
After confirming that next month’s headlining addition to the Instant Game Collection for PS Plus subbers would be Hitman Absolution, the EU Playstation Blog has gone on to release details of a ‘Declassified’ sale that they’re currently running, showcasing discounts across a wide-range of stealth and shooter titles. Don’t forget, PS Plus subscribers get an automatic 10% discount off of all listed prices. Take a look at the full list [...]
Originally announced back in 2008, Ride to Hell was publisher Deep Silver‘s crack at creating an open-world biker game, but since then, very little was heard about it until recently. Now back in the public view, Deep Silver has brought not just one biker game to the table, but three; all spread between full retail, downloadable and mobile platforms.
