All that needs to be said is that Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, the PSone classic RPG from 2000, is coming to the PlayStation Network tomorrow for $9.99. You need to buy it. Thank you, ATLUS.

I won’t rag on Plants vs. Zombies this week. Sure it’s an overall underwhelming choice for a free game in light of how awesome Europe is getting things next month along with their acquisition of Sleeping Dogs THIS month, but it’s still an awesome, fun, enjoyable game. You know, despite being on every platform on the planet right now. So Plants vs. Zombies on the Vita is this week’s freebie [...]

Good news for PlayStation gamers. The current PS Mini, Jetpack Joyride, which rose to fame on mobile devices, is set to be re-released for PS Vita and PS3 as a free game for us very soon based on this Joystiq post. The very kickass guys at Halfbrick, the lovely chaps who have also given us games like Fruit Ninja, Age of Zombies, and Raskulls, will be giving us an all [...]

Good news for those game starved PS Vita owners like myself. Team Ninja announced today that we are going to be getting some more Ninja Gaiden action this in just over two months! Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, in all of it’s unnecessarily wordily titled glory, will see release on the PS Vita on February 26th in the US. Europe will get to slice some fools on March 1st, except [...]

Ladies and gentlemen, the war is over. You may as well smash your Nintendo DS, destroy your DSi, and elbow drop your 3DS because they are all worthless filth now. If you love fishing, and you can’t get enough of anime characters, you are in luck. Let’s Fish! Hooked On has been officially announced for the PS Vita, releasing on PSN, and it’s clear that the killer app has finally arrived. [...]

News hit over on Joystiq that, according to a developer tweet, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will be hitting the PlayStation Vita on December 18th in North America. There’s no word on a European launch yet, but the developers say we should know more next week. Also no word on any kind of PlayStation Plus discounts, but it’s confirmed that the title is NOT cross-buy or cross-play with the PS3 version. [...]

Well PS Plus didn’t hit the PS Vita like it was supposed to, today, but when Sony announced a Monday release I kind of figured it wouldn’t happen until midday Tuesday like everything else Sony does when it comes to store updates. Anyways, PS Plus on the Vita is the big news for the week, but PS3 owners still get a few freebies (including stuff we’ve gotten free probably a [...]

That’s right, folks, DLC is coming to Sony Smash Bros. and the first two characters will be Kat from Gravity Rush for the PS Vita and That Guy from Starhawk from the game Starhawk! His name is Emmett or something. Both characters will be available “early next year” and will actually be FREE for the first two weeks! Can’t complain about free DLC, right? PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale releases for [...]

Not a whole lot to discuss when it comes to this week’s PlayStation Plus update, sadly, but what is there isn’t too bad, so we’ll call it a wash. This week’s freebie is Quantum Conundrum, the first person puzzler from one of the original creators of Portal. Also on tap is a PS Plus discount on Machinarium seeing a 30% discount dropping the title down to $6.99. Last bit of [...]

The original Final Fantasy III is hitting the PSP as a digital title next week on 9/25. Keep in mind this is the REAL Final Fantasy III that finally made it’s way to the US on the Nintendo 3DS and not the SNES Final Fantasy III which is really Final Fantasy VI. Thanks, Nintendo, for screwing up the numbering system for all those years. Anyways, according to the PlayStation Blog, [...]
