[UPDATE] It’s finally available everywhere. Just in case you didn’t already know, a demo for Schafer’s satanic masterpiece, Brutal Legend, hits the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow. Will you be downloading it? You’d be mad not to! Well, madder than Tim Schafer, anyway. And that’s pretty mad.

The Official US Blog has just released details on the features of Firmware 3.0. It’s all listed after the break, along with a video showcasing it. There’s no date for it yet, as we’ve still got some firmware updates to go before then, surely, but it’s a nice update and something to look forward to. And before you ask… yes, they’ve moved the battery indicator from above the clock!

What justifies DLC content that users should pay for? Should game developers plan for expansion packs or DLC during original game development, or should the DLC be based on user feedback? Are expansion packs (that we have to purchase) for subscription-based MMOs reasonable on the user’s part?

Criterion has posted a long video detailing the next piece of DLC coming to Burnout Paradise: Big Surf Island. The video shows off all nine new cars coming with the expansion pack, as well as giving viewers a quick tour of the island itself.

Team Ico fans rejoice! This Thursday, LittleBigPlanet will be receiving a new costume patch which will adds not only characters from Team Ico self-named PS2 classic, Ico, but it's spiritual sequel Shadow of the Colossus as well.
