Developer PopCap Games, those purveyors of hopelessly addictive games such as Bejeweled, Peggle and of course Plants Vs Zombies, have today made an announcement that is all but guaranteed to turn you in a social recluse if you weren’t one already. Plants Vs Zombies 2 is a real thing and is due to arrive sometime in the first half of 2013.  Kaboom.

Best. News. Ever. Speaking at Casual Connect in Seattle, PopCap revealed to a grateful world that the insanely addictive, ridiculously enjoyable and delightfully quirky Plant vs Zombies will be heading to the Xbox Live Arcade. Now who wouldn’t be happy about an announcement like this?
