New Batman: Arkham City screens are catty and two-faced

Posted by Kyle Gaddo On September - 1 - 2010

Now, I understand that the title might sound like an ex-girlfriend, but I assure you that these are completely, 100% Arkham City-related. No tears and sleepless nights here, unless you’re afraid of the Big Bad Bat.

They used to be on this Flickr account, but it seems that our friend The Joker has made off with them.  Luckily, I snagged ‘em before they went away.

Arkham City is shaping up to be amazing. Check these bad boys out.  They show off Catwoman, Harley, Two-Face and the Caped Crusader himself.

Microsoft Flight (Simulator)

Posted by Herman S. Lilleng On August - 17 - 2010

PC Gaming, you guys! 2010 has been a great year for the Computré de Personnel as a gaming platform, with Alien Swarm released by Valve for free, StarCraft II consuming the gaming stratosphere, and Civ V expecting to do the same next month. Now Microsoft have gotten their finger out as well, and have revived their two most successful PC-centric franchises, Age of Empires and Flight Simulator.

The game will be known as “Microsoft Flight”, and the website so far only has a classy, but vague teaser trailer on it, with a biplane flying over an ocean. I expect it to get a similar treatment as Age of Empires: Online, releasing it as smaller downloadable title, given the rather small target audience for flight sims. Read the rest of this entry »

New Guild Wars 2 trailer promises to raise the bar for MMORPGs

NCsoft has just released a new trailer for Guild Wars 2. In it, the developers make some bold claim about redefining the way in which story-telling is portrayed in the genre, and about giving the player’s character a sense of genuine importance in the virtual world of the game.

There are some bold claims, but its certainly hard to not be impressed by the flashiness of the trailer. Hit the cut and judge for yourself, even if you’re not an MMORPG fan. You might be decidedly impressed.
