Today a representative from Nintendo has responded to the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals regarding allegations of pro-fur messages in the recently released Super Mario 3D Land. The address is brief, but very easy to follow. Nintendo refers to Mario’s power-ups as “lighthearted and whimsical transformations” that “make no statement beyond the games themselves.” Catch the full address after the jump.
