Game Informer recently published a fairly comprehensive release schedule for the major titles being released across all formats in the next 12 months. If you have any interest in figuring out what to spend your limited income on in 2011, you’ll probably want to check out the full list after the cut, because it looks like it’s going to be a ridiculously good year for gaming this year.
I found this trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. And it is so over the top batshit insane you just can’t help but love it. You’ve got Captain America fighting Dr. Doom and the Super Skrull ATOP AN EXPLODING S.H.I.E.L.D. HELICARRIER together with Trish, Chun-Li and VIEWTIFUL JOE RIDING ON AMATERASU’S BACK! Seriously. Just watch the damn thing.
Comic-Con is this week! We like Comic-Con. The convention started out as strictly comic book focused, but has since grown to immense size, and to be a celebration of all things geek. Comics, movies, TV, and yes, video games too. Naturally, comic book focused games are representing the strongest, and Capcom is using the occasion to reveal four new characters from the MvC3 roster, two from each side.
