Capcom has released their Capcom Platinum Hits Triple Pack today, that’s three games in one box!
For a mere $39.99 you can get 3 of Capcom’s most celebrated games; Lost Planet Colonies Edition, Devil May Cry 4 and the ever-so awesome Dead Rising.
The pack is a pretty decent deal, coming in at $13 per game. It’s Xbox 360 exclusive, just do you know.

When The Gaming Vault had an opportunity to speak with Square Enix and Double Helix at this year’s E3, Double Helix development director Jeremy Lee discussed the reasons behind Front Mission Evolved’s shift from a turn-based strategy game to a real-time action title.
“For some people it would be very shocking for Front Mission< to be an action game, previous Front Mission games have fun in different areas before, but now there are Front Mission alternatives in RTS, which is its traditional haunt," Lee explained.
Well this at least explains why the eLost Planet 2 trailer only appeared on the Xbox 360 … Capcom has just announced that the title will be a 360 exclusive.
“Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that Lost Planet 2 is being developed for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, following an exclusive announcement on Xbox LIVE that happened Monday, February 23,” said the firm in a statement.
Looks like the PS3 users are getting shafted, unfortunately, but expect it to maybe appear on the format a year or two down the line, not that that’s much conciliation.
Well, it appears the surprise title which Capcom promised to announce today is none other than… Lost Planet 2.
The trailer, which is currently only available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace, shows off some new game features which should at least prove to be interesting, such as progressive climate changes, and more interestingly… co-op play.
“Players wished they had been able to take on the Akrid enemies in a co-op mode,” Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi said in the movie. “You should be able to see our response to those requests in the trailer you just saw.”
This should be pleasant news for fans of the franchise, at least.
