Today was the finale of E3 2011 (at least for the main events), and Nintendo took the stage and knocked it out of the park with the announcement of their new console. Previously code named Project Cafe, the new Nintendo console is now named Wii U.

Even though the press conferences haven’t even started, news are slowly being trickled out as we count down to Microsoft‘s press conference.
