Nintendo had a conference earlier today. And as with most of their conferences, the Internet exploded with rumors and speculation on big franchises making big comebacks. Unfortunately for the Internet, this isn’t E3. Nintendo Direct didn’t announce anything extreme, but what it did announce is still satisfying.
Nintendo had, for a long time, promised that games outside of the scope of their own titles would make it into the Nintendo 3DS eShop. And that didn’t happen. Until now. The Game Gear‘s Shinobi and Sonic Triple Trouble are the first two games to be listed on the ESRB’s website. And it’s about time. I quit buying batteries for my Game Gear so long ago.
