New York Comic-Con, that relatively dependable bastion of movie, comic and videogame geekery, has been utilised by developer Cryptic to unleash a brand-new, combat focused trailer for their upcoming online Dungeons & Dragons title, Neverwinter. Check it out after the jump.

Co-founders of RPG developer Bioware, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk have today confirmed their departure from the company. Both of them seem quite intent on pursuing opportunities beyond the videogames industry and as such, don’t forsee a return to it. More on this after the jump.

Finally. Yes, finally, EA and Bioware have confirmed that a third entry in their Dragon Age IP is indeed a real thing.  Take a look at the first details on the highly anticipated RPG sequel after the jump.

The Dragon Age II demo is finally available. The demo is already up on Xbox Live, and will be on PC and PSN later today (tomorrow for PSN in Europe).

BioWare has just released an extended version its gamescom Dragon Age 2 “Destiny” trailer. The footage shows off the sequel’s new protagonist Hawke, as he faces off against regicidal boss in what can only be summarised as a really awesome video sequence. Catch it after the cut.

BioWare boss Ray Muzyka has confirmed today that Dragon Age 2 will be flying down to nest on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in March next year. Dragon Age 2’s story will different from the previous game, and even past BioWare games, in that its story will span ten years.
