EA‘s Battlefield 3 has sold a total of 8 million units across all platforms. That means 3 million additional units after its release week, where it sold 5 million units. DICE has just released a comprehensive patch on for Battlefield 3 on the PC. It’s quite a meaty patch, adding a more streamlined squad system, automatic Origin log-in from within Battlelog, and the ability to share your stats across different social networking sites. It also includes with a generous dose of bug fixes and balances changes, including (finally) a fix to the negative mouse acceleration problems that were plaguing many users.
