I absolutely cannot wait for this. The new Guardian Heroes game is shaping up to be everything we’d hoped a new Guardian Heroes HD remake would be: sharper, smoother, with added gameplay modes and online features, but with all the core gameplay and art direction of Treasure‘s original masterpiece pretty much intact. All of which is corraborated by SEGA‘s latest trailer, which you can see after the cut.
Not throughly embarrassed by Spore, which most would consider a failure, EA and Maxis are about to release a spinoff of the game, called Darkspore. Darkspore is an action-RPG based loosely off the original title, Spore. With a richer plot and some actual character development, Darkspore seems to be a game that may actually be worth playing for a while. And with some real multiplayer aspects, we may see some rich gameplay.

This all comes from the latest issue of Japanese magazine Shonen Jump. Dissidia Duodecim has been announced for a 2011 release [...]
Right off the bat, I was not expecting Yakuza 4 to be at E3 at all. Yakuza 3 only came out in March! Let me just say though that Yakuza 4 had to be one of the best demos of the day for me. In the demo, each of the four playable characters (yes, four) got a chance to show their fisticuffs as they battled the scum of the streets [...]
In a recent interview with Jason Green of Black Rock Studios, we learn some new details about Disney Interactive’s upcoming title Split/Second. One of the biggest concerns with Split/Second is that the game will get boring quickly. From what we already know about the title, the premise is to race other cars and blow things up. Which, right there, is a pretty solid concept as it is. However, it does [...]
Max Schaefer, CEO of Runic games, the developers behind PC Action RPG Torchlight, said that the game may be headed to consoles and that a “serious effort” is being put into the idea. “We’re going to put some serious effort into it — pretty quick — getting ‘Torchlight’ onto consoles,” Schaefer said. “There’s a lot of really cool things about the console world, too, that would work well with our [...]
