Microsoft revealed that Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga‘s spiritual predecessor, is coming exclusively to Xbox Live! The Xbox Live Arcade version is being developed by Treasure, the production studio behind both games. Time for another bullet hell game! If Triggerheart Exelica and Ikaruga couldn’t sate your thirst for bullets, the addition of Radiant Silvergun surely will. Glad that arcade/Saturn games are being ported to a newer and younger generation who didn’t bask [...]

Space Buddha. God Finger. HD. Pretty colors. Check this trailer out from Capcom’s latest, Asura’s Wrath. It’s like God of War met Hinduism and the fused together, DBZ style. The game’s powered by the Unreal Engine 3.  No date on this whatsoever and details are pretty much limited to what you see in this video.

Capcom’s keeping busy during TGS and announced earlier today Dead Rising 2: Case West, an epilogue to Dead Rising 2. Case West will take place after the end of Dead Rising 2 and will feature current protagonist Chuck Greene team up with everyone’s favourite action photographer: Frank West. Allow me a minute to jump up and down with glee… Thank you. Why is Frank back you ask? Because journalists have [...]

More and more news is coming in from Tokyo Game Show, and this time we’re throwing it over to Capcom for an update on the new Devil May Cry game, simply titled DMC. Though with today’s naming conventions, it should have been titled The Devil May Cry. Alas, one cannot get everything. DMC is being developed by Ninja Theory, the creators of Heavenly Sword and the upcoming Enslaved: Odyssey to [...]

Nothing of note has happened today. Halo: Reach came out and everybody is playing that. You’re probably not even reading this because you’re playing Halo: Reach. Maybe there will be news tomorrow.

Once Kinect launches, the Xbox 360 dashboard will be getting an aesthetic overhaul. And thanks to YouTube, we know exactly what that will look like. Absolutely bland as hell! Seriously. Microsoft is going for a different and more “clean” look, but it really looks like a step in the wrong direction. It’s grey and green, much like the new controller they announced. Check it out after the cut and post [...]

I found this trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. And it is so over the top batshit insane you just can’t help but love it. You’ve got Captain America fighting Dr. Doom and the Super Skrull ATOP AN EXPLODING S.H.I.E.L.D. HELICARRIER together with Trish, Chun-Li and VIEWTIFUL JOE RIDING ON AMATERASU’S BACK! Seriously. Just watch the damn thing.

UPDATE: Looks like the rumor was true after all. A pre-Tokyo Game Show gathering revealed that an “Ultimate Hits” version of Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Japan, which includes the aforementioned “Easy Mode” and English language track with various subtitles. The “Easy Mode” will be able to “Break” enemies faster for those unfamiliar with the Optima Change system (Paradigm Shift in the Western release).

Rock Band Aide’s Tiffany (aka ElektraFi) stole Harmonix’s John Drake away at PAX for a quick interview about upcoming rhythm phenomenon, Rock Band 3. Some things he revealed about the game are the possibility of tablature available in-game, exporting tracks from Rock Band 2 to Rock Band 3 (just like the first game, and, of course, the problems with re-licensing songs) for all three platforms, regular and PRO mode DLC [...]

It’s so simple and so damn charming and I can’t help but keep playing and playing, because it’s really, really fun. In promotion of Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, there’s an 8-bit game you can play right on the official site. Lots of fun, rockin’ music and most importantly, you can take more than one hit before your ship explodes in a fiery blaze! In addition, you can unlock extra content [...]
