Wait’s over, folks. The extended ending DLC for Mass Effect 3 is coming out next week on Tuesday, June 26th for you big crybabies. No additional charge, either, but I’m sure some people will still find a way to complain about the 1.9 GB download across all platforms in many regions.

There are so many games that were at E3 that are getting proper, in depth write ups from the staff here at The Gaming Vault. E3 is a huge place that many smaller titles get overshadowed by the huge displays for highly anticipated game, so here are a few games that were at E3 that you may not know that much about.

Featuring the new protagonist Connor, Assassin’s Creed 3 unveils itself with boldness. Whether you’re killing wildlife by combating against wolves or hunting down British soldiers, the game seems absolutely astounding. Combat seems to be more action packed and the traveling seems to be much faster paced. I can tell you more but check out this demo video.

Madden NFL 2013 is coming. Except now it has RPG elements. Or something.

Resident Evil 6 made its gameplay debut unveiling at the Microsoft Press Conference just now. The demo revealed Leon wandering around with his partner Helena in a nighttime Shanghai.

Metal Gear Rising wasn’t the only title Konami had to show off during last nights GameTrailers TV reveals. We were also treated to a gorgeous reveal trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, the sequel to 2010′s next-gen reboot of the popular franchise. Alongside its many other reveals, the GameTrailers Pre-E3 event revealed a new trailer for Platinum Games‘ gory new take on the Metal Gear franchise, Metal Gear Rising, confirming a release date for the game some time in early 2013. It’s cheesy, it’s poorly acted, and the gameplay looks great, so it’ll fit in just fine with the rest of the franchise! Check it out after the cut.

It’s not quite E3 yet but the party is already starting! On Gameinformer’s new cover, a new Gears of War game is announced. We’re not quite sure what it’s called or what the setting will be but you can bet it’s going to be awesome. Square Enix has revealed its full line-up of games for this year’s E3. It’s quite heavy on console and mobile games, but depressingly devoid of console RPGs. Oh well. It’s still a solid line-up either way.
