Sony: 2009 has "absolutely amazing line-up" for PS3

Sony seems to be giving PS3 fans a lot to be happy about this years, and they’re more than willing to let us know about it, proudly (and rightfully) boasting about the PS3′s strong exclusive line-up for the year ahead.

“I think we had a very good line-up in 2008, especially for the holidays, but in 2009, it’s an absolutely amazing line-up,” SCEA VP Scott Rohde told Edge today. “It’s one of the best line-ups that we’ve ever put out in a single calendar year, so it’s very, very exciting.”

PS3 exclusives planned for this year include Heavy Rain, InFamous, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MAG, and God of War III. And apparently, there’s more that’s yet to be announced.

“There are several titles that are in the works that we have yet to announce,” said Rohde.

If that doesn’t get PS3 owners excited, nothing will!

Happy Holidays from The Gaming Vault

Posted by Michael O'Connor On December - 24 - 2008

It’s Christmas already in some parts of the world, and it’s just around the corner for the rest of us. As such, the gang here at The Gaming Vault will be wrapping things up on the website until the new year.

From myself, and everyone else on staff, have a pleasant holiday season. May your next few days be full of cheer, happiness… and lots and lots of video games!

We hope you’ll join us back here in 2009, when we’ll be as active as ever. We have plenty of things planned for the start of the new year, including more additions to our extensive Dissidia: Final Fantasy guide, new instalments of our original Games ‘N’ Goblins video-cast, and a feature looking back at our favourite games of 2008.

And that’s only for the start of the year! Except much besides in the year ahead!

See you again in 2009, fellow gamers. Enjoy your holidays!

Nintendo 2009 release schedule

Kotaku has published a huge release schedule from Nintendo, listing all announced games, in all territories, for early 2009 and late 2008.

There are some promising titles, so take a look. Though I must admit it seems like Japan is getting the most of coming Nintendo titles.
