Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has finally gotten a release date! Which is downright awesome. And it’s not that far off either! Capcom has confirmed that MvC 3 will hit store shelves on February 15th, 2011. That’s the day after Valentine’s Day, FYI.
Title pretty much says it all — Fender now has a new website dedicated to all the information about their upcoming peripheral, the Squier guitar/controller. Site’s complete with teaser videos and cute girl with a guitar right there on the landing page.
Iiiiiinteresting. Gamasutra has dug up job ads listed under "Diablo III", searching for "lead designer, console," "lead programmer, console" and "senior producer, console." Blizzard said at Blizzcon that Diablo III was "suited for consoles". They also recently expanded their HQ.
One of the next year’s titles I am very excited about is the People Can Fly/Epic Games/EA kill-a-thon Bulletstorm, which promises to be all kinds of over-the-top batshit craziness with a side of gravy. Also, there’s Steven Blum voicing the main character. A new trailer titled “Hey man nice shot” was recently released to the web, so we’ll simply bring you the entire thing and let you judge for yourself.
Apparently, the race is on.. with various hobby programmers and enthusiasts having coded and uploaded open source projects related to collecting and visualizing the data that gets pumped out of their Kinect devices. The earliest were published on the release day of Kinect, but more appear to be popping up over the past six days.
