Rock Band developer Harmonix have confirmed that layoffs are on the way, but nothing has been said about how many are going to end up on the chopping block. Speaking with Joystiq, Harmonix said that they were “working to ensure that those affected are well taken care of as we make this change.” These layoffs, however, will not be detrimental to any upcoming Rock Band 3 or Dance Central DLC. Atlus basically said that the demo for Catherine hit their SUPER SECRET allotted number of downloads, so they pulled the demo down from the Japanese PSN Store. The demo is still available to Japanese Xbox LIVE profiles, however. Catherine is due out February 17th for Japanese PS3 and 360 players alike.
