On first pass, Battlefield 4 seems depressingly like business as usual for the next iteration in the Battlefield series; a franchise that has notably been awarded its own, gold-crusted bi-yearly spot on EA’s FPS conveyor belt.  With the exception of those explosions.  Those explosions look mighty nice and all fancy looking.

How did I miss this one? Last week those sly dogs over at Gearbox Studios released a browser-based, “old-school” 16-bit version of Borderlands. It’s got a top-down view where your character (your choice of Borderlands 2 characters Axton, Maya, Salvador or Zer0) has to survive wave after wave of oncoming Skags and Bandits.

Good news, detective. I know you’ve been workin’ hard on that Max Payne case. Betcha you’ve been waitin’ on updates. Well I’ve got good news, and it’s comin’ from the top brass at Rockstar Games. The free Disorganized Crime DLC Pack is coming to PC, PS3, and 360 August 28th.

Fanboys have been in a bit of a tizzy since the re-release of Final Fantasy VII on the PC. Mind you, it’s merely a re-release. Nothing about the game has been updated, aside from the fact that there are achievements now. And they’re all awful. Every single one of them.

There are so many games that were at E3 that are getting proper, in depth write ups from the staff here at The Gaming Vault. E3 is a huge place that many smaller titles get overshadowed by the huge displays for highly anticipated game, so here are a few games that were at E3 that you may not know that much about.
