Well, that’s Japan sorted then. As part of Wii U media deluge that we presently find ourselves in, Capcom have confirmed that not only will Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate release on the Wii U, alongside the 3DS version next year, but that the game will also facilitate cross-platform play between the two Nintendo platforms. Brilliant.

Every bit the proof of concept title for the Wii U as Wii Sports and Wii Play were for the Wii back in 2006, NintendoLand encompasses a smattering of minigames themed on various Nintendo IP. As you might reasonably expect, those minigames, besides being quite fun to play, are built to individually target the strengths of the various control input methods that the Wii U offers.  To that end, check out the trailer after the jump to see how each mini-game is played.

One of the earliest beacons of potential for the Wii U, Platinum Games’ P-100 found a lot of affection among folk with its Pikmin inspired action gameplay and bright, colourful visuals. Today, Platinum Games have renamed P-101 to something different, something more substantial. Behold mortals; The Wonderful 101.  Oh and there’s a new trailer for it after the jump too.

Now that the Nintendo Direct presser has finished, some gameplay videos of various Wii U titles are beginning to creep out. Foremost among the escapees, is a brand new gameplay video for New Super Mario Bros U.  You can see it after the break.

Its always a good day for me when Capcom decide to release media of Remember Me; as I really think that the game looks like the dark horse of 2013. That, and well the idea of screwing around with people’s memories just looks like far too cool a proposition to pass up on.

The free-to-play MMO based on the Marvel universe, will go into closed beta on October 1st this year according to its developer, Gazillion Entertainment. Sign ups for the closed beta of Marvel Heroes has already started and if you fancy it, you can get in on the action here.

Sony have at last confirmed that all three home console Killzone titles will find themselves in each others company this October, as the firm today has released the first official details and trailer on the Killzone Trilogy.
