Elite: Dangerous, the next entry in the space trading and exploration franchise that started the whole genre off, has finally hit its Kickstarter funding target of £1,250,000 just a few minutes ago with 53 hours to spare. The game will now be released on PC and Mac formats in March 2014, in line with the proposed dates listed on the Kickstarter.
