During their E3 press conference on Monday, SCEA president and CEO Jack Tretton announced that a 24″ Sony brand 3D TV would be made widely available as a starting point to would-be 3D consumers. One of the cool things about this upcoming TV will be that two viewers will be able to see two different images on the same screen in all their 3D glory—a great boon for games that [...]
Not satisfied with announcing a new console at E3 2011, Nintendo decided to drop yet another bombshell on us. Final Fantasy XIII was released to some fairly mixed reviews: some hated it, others loved it, and even some (like me) simply shrugged and said “Meh!”. Which is why I was surprised when Square-Enix announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 Square-Enix recently released the complete Final Fantasy XIII-2 E3 trailer (man, that’s a lot of numbers!), which, if indicative of the final product doesn’t bode well. Check the trailer after the cut.
During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Peter Molyneux took the stage and announced Fable: The Journey for the Xbox 360 Kinect. Many were skeptical. From the footage shown during the live conference, it looked like Fable: The Journey was going to be another motion based rail game, but according to Molyneux, that is not the case.
