I had a great time being able to try the upcoming Disney title Epic Monkey. I was able to speak with one of the game’s animators, and she gave me the run down of this very stylistic title that is just oozing with cool. Even the cutscenes are amazing and reminiscent of something you see during the credits of a Pixar movie. They have this storyboard look that the developers [...]

Right off the bat, I was not expecting Yakuza 4 to be at E3 at all. Yakuza 3 only came out in March! Let me just say though that Yakuza 4 had to be one of the best demos of the day for me. In the demo, each of the four playable characters (yes, four) got a chance to show their fisticuffs as they battled the scum of the streets [...]

Today has been another exciting day at E3 2010. Today we saw Nintendo and Sony, rivals for over a decade, show off their newest creations. Needless to say, the announcements today were utterly mindblowing, and we even got a special surprise thrown in from Valve! The wait is finally over! We’re finally getting a new Kid Icarus game from the Big N. After 24 years of waiting, rumours and speculation, we can all rest easy as Pit is making his triumphant return on Nintendo’s 3DS.

The upcoming 3DS was obviously shown off during Nintendo’s press conference. After spending around half-an-hour on new Wii games, the focus shifted to the handheld side of things. Reggie Fils-Aimee talked a while about 3D, which has come to dominate entertainment during the past year. But there’s one thing he doesn’t like about 3D: the glasses. They are ugly, and expensive. So the 3DS will provide a full 3D experience, [...]
