If you’ve been living in a cave for the past year or so, you might not know there’s a Green Lantern movie in the works. As such, there’s obviously a video game tie-in being planned, the teaser trailer of which hit the internet just recently. Nintendo announced today the full software line-up that will be launching alongside the 3DS in the UK on March 25. And it’s a fairly terrible list. I mean, come on, Nintendo, even the DS had a Mario game straight out of the gate. The full list can be found after the cut.

Japanese publisher Enterbrain and Media-Create have announced today that that Pokémon Black and White have sold over 5 million combined units in Japan. The latest instalments in the long running RPG franchise was released in Japan last September, and now ranks as the fastest selling game to ever hit the format. Game Informer has released it’s predictions for 2011 of what it feels might be around the bend for us gamers. However, some are just a bit more absurd than others.

Game Informer recently published a fairly comprehensive release schedule for the major titles being released across all formats in the next 12 months. If you have any interest in figuring out what to spend your limited income on in 2011, you’ll probably want to check out the full list after the cut, because it looks like it’s going to be a ridiculously good year for gaming this year.

Starting today, GameStop stores all across the U.S.A. are giving away Shiny versions of the three Legendary Beasts, Raikou, Entei and Suicune, one every week for three weeks to promote the upcoming movie Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
