It’s still weeks out from Valentine’s Day, but Bungie already decided to show some serious love to a young man who received a very serious liver transplant. Reddit user fiscal_ reached out on the community boards asking about some contact info for the minds behind the original Halo bits. The conscientious dad though his boy could use some cheering up with someone from one of his favorite games, and Bungie [...]
Do you like money? Of course not. That’s why you’re going to give it all to Square-Enix this holiday season. For the next couple weeks, until January 2, they are chopping their prices in half for near every game available in their online store. Even the brand new Hitman: Absolution is included in the sale, for $39.99 on all platforms. It’s not quite 50%, but you can’t really complain about [...]
Wii U has finally arrived in the UK a few weeks after their North American cousins got their hands on the console – and it appears to be flying off the shelves in the country at a more brisk pace than in the states.
I had the Wii-remotes all laid out on my coffee table with the Wii U Game Pad at the centre, shining brightly. Above the controllers rested New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, and Zombi U. The cheese and cracker platter waited on the dining table to be devoured by happy, hungry house guests, and I waited for my first Wii U game night to begin. One by one my [...]

But, to tide you over, NIS America is giving you a new battle trailer, which showcases all the got-dang kawaii moves you can unleash on your enemies. Take a gander under the jump.
Good news, detective. I know you’ve been workin’ hard on that Max Payne case. Betcha you’ve been waitin’ on updates. Well I’ve got good news, and it’s comin’ from the top brass at Rockstar Games. The free Disorganized Crime DLC Pack is coming to PC, PS3, and 360 August 28th.
A sad thing happened today; Sony announced the closure of Studio Liverpool. I’m not going to go into the reasons why they’re closing it, short version: it’s crushingly stupid (but that is another story for another time), but I thought that it would be at least relevant to impart my thoughts on what I feel the sort of impact the studio has had on this lovely industry of ours.
Sony has confirmed this morning that quirky action game (and my personal “Best Game Idea Ever” award winner) Tokyo Jungle is finally coming to North American PSN! In case you forgot last time I covered it, Tokyo Jungle has you controlling one of fifty types of animals as they learn to survive and prosper in a post apocalyptic Tokyo. And by animals, I mean Pomeranians, lions, gazelle, cats, wolves, and tyrannosaurs. [...]
Fanboys have been in a bit of a tizzy since the re-release of Final Fantasy VII on the PC. Mind you, it’s merely a re-release. Nothing about the game has been updated, aside from the fact that there are achievements now. And they’re all awful. Every single one of them.
