Recent decisions by the Australian classification boards has degreed that, until they receive an age rating from the board itself, the majority of MMOs available to buy in the country can’t be legally sold. Up until now, MMO were exempt from requiring a legal age rating due to their lack of single-player content, but the law has since changed to include multilayer only titles.
Square Enix confirmed today that the release for Dissidia: Final Fantasy in Europe should be revealed in the next few weeks. “We’ll be making an announcement on the release timing later this month,” a rep told the press today. The PSP Final Fantasy fighting game, which has a rough “mind 2009″ release date in the US, was the biggest selling title in Japan for the month of January.
