After their surprise announcement that they had plucked the UFC license from ‘streamlining’  publisher THQ, EA have today confirmed the developer behind their shiny new combat sports acquisition.

Metro: Last Light, the sequel to the rather decent Metro 2033 developed by Ukrainian codeshop 4A games, was shown just a few months ago at E3; showcasing some gameplay from the anticipated shooter.  While some of the footage from that demonstration has gotten out, it hasn’t been the full, uncut article. Until now.

Thirty-five trusted publications have voted and the winners are in! Dominating the list with five wins, including Best of Show and Best Original Game is Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us for PS3. Halo 4 beat out Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Borderlands 2 for best action game. For all the nominees click here.

There are so many games that were at E3 that are getting proper, in depth write ups from the staff here at The Gaming Vault. E3 is a huge place that many smaller titles get overshadowed by the huge displays for highly anticipated game, so here are a few games that were at E3 that you may not know that much about.

Tokyo Jungle had a fact sheet for Europe on Sony’s E3 show floor. It’s releasing June 7th in Japan. It’s also the best idea for a video game I’ve seen all year. But it’s getting overshadowed by the rest of E3. Let’s fix that.
