The process of releasing each song previously packaged with Rock Band Blitz as standalone DLC has been tedious in my opinion, but the process will cease when the final bunch is released on the 19th of March, which includes Shout by Tears For Fears, Diamond Eyes by Deft—I mean, Shinedown, and the “I just shot Marvin in the face” song. Check out the full details, as well as RBN details, [...]

Once again, the next slice of Rock Band DLC to arrive will be a selection of songs previously exclusive to Rock Band Blitz, but with no Pro upgrades in tow this time around. So again, if you have purchased Blitz prior, as you should have, this week’s offerings are, well, a misnomer. Check out full details, as well as RBN details, after the jump!

Next week’s Rock Band DLC offering will see songs previously featured exclusively in Rock Band Blitz, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”, Quiet Riot’s “Bang Your Head (Metal Health)”, Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality” and Soundgarden’s “Spoonman”, which was also previously a part of Rock Band 2. Suffice to say that if you already have Blitz, only the Pro upgrades have a chance of interesting you. Check out [...]

Rock Band 3 will see the re-release of Jessie’s Girl, which was previously featured in Rock Band Blitz, and new releases of I’ve Done Everything For You and Don’t Talk To Strangers. These tracks will arrive for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii on January 15 (January 16 for European PS3 users). Jessie’s Girl was a desired track for many years, and the excitement for Blitz was much [...]

This week will see the release of a song from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, a song from Brutal Legend and a song from various sports games making their way to Rock Band DLC.

Sony Computer Entertainment have said today that the long awaited PSone classics support for the PlayStation Vita will be added in Firmware Update 1.8. No set date has been given yet, but I wager that if they have announced it now, it won’t be too long.

Dead Island shall soon be receiving some DLC entitled Dead Island: Ryder White. Ryder was the primary human antagonist of the game, and this add-on is purported to add a new campaign which will explain his side of the story. Details on whether or not it shall be co-op compatible are yet to be released, though one of the screenshots in the Blistered Thumbs story shows someone holding a spiked [...]

Here we are: the crud of the crop, the lowest of the low. The games featured on this list are the ones that I had the absolute least fun with; the ones which, after playing, led me to take a cold 10 minute shower with twenty bars of soap to wash off their pure bile. Hyperbole is fun. Let’s get to the list.

MCV have reported that several UK games sales branches have stated that they would be happy to share revenue made from sales of pre-owned games with their repsective publishers if they agree to cease the use of online passes or “gave them a better deal on newer stock”.
