Bethesda has finally confirmed what all PS3 users have been wanting to hear, that the Fallout 3 DLC packs, are finally coming to them. Released on the PSN from June, starting with Operation Anchorage, with the other two being released 4-6 weeks apart, say Bethesda.

In addition, there are two new DLC packs that are planned for all platforms. Both of the new packs will arrive on PS3 after the originals have been released, so, PS3 owners will have to wait. But hey, at least they’re getting it!

“Point Lookout” a “Massive new swampland area” With new quests and content,

“Mothership Zeta” which apparantly lets you “experience an alien abduction first hand, and find out if you’re tough enough to survive”

Both packs will be out in late June for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 MS points, (£6.80)

A new video from the Bioshock 2 team was released yesterday, and man is it pretty. Raises a few questions though.

Is that a Big Daddy Drill?

Why can we breathe underwater?

Amongst others, but see for yourself.

The Behemoth, famous for the games “Alien Hominid” and the hugely successful “Castle Crashers” Have today released a trailer for their new game, though doesn’t mention a title, and says 2010 at the end.

It looks like an immensely fun game though, with old school 2D features.

Epic will be showcasing a host of new improvements to the Unreal Engine 3 during the Game Developers Conference this year, which kicks off next week

The latest Unreal Engine 3 features include an integrated MMOG back-end environment and “a new global illumination solver” called ‘Unreal Lightmass’ that “produces high-quality static lighting with next-generation effects”.

One analyst has predicted that Nintendo will be facing serious trouble at the end of it’s Financial year, Which is the quarter ending on March the 31st.

“Today’s revision suggests that the roaring pace of Wii growth that we’ve seen until now may be over.” says KBC Financial Products Analyst Hiroshi Kamide.

GOA and EA Mythic have unveiled the first ‘live expansion’ for Warhammer Online, and it’s called  ”Call to Arms.”

The free add-on (Yes, FREE)  is set to release to players in early March and run three in-game events through to the end of June.

Call to Arms will introduce two new careers;
The Orc Choppa
Dwarf Slayer

A new dungeon zone, the Land of the Dead, as well as s new Realm vs. Realm (RvR) scenario.

A lot of people know, that once you’ve finished Fallout 3, that’s it, no more continuing the game, or doing side quests.

All that is about to be changed with a new patch. 360 and PC gamers will now be able to continue playing the game’s quests (and the new DLC, obviously) even after the game’s ending, thanks to the new patch.

What about the PS3? When asked if PS3 players will get the same patch Tod Howard, the game’s executive producer, replied:

“Not at this time, no.”

It sucks to be a PS3 Fallout player right about now.

The demo of Halo Wars will be coming to Xbox Live on February 5.

The worlds most popular MMO, World of Warcraft has now reached a userbase of 11.5 million says Blizzard, sale of the game have been fuelled by the new Wrath of The Lich King release, which shifted over 4million copies in it’s first month.

“We’re pleased to welcome the new and returning players who have helped World of Warcraft reach these new milestones, and we appreciate the enthusiasm and support that the game’s global community has continued to show,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO of Blizzard.

Only two months ago, Blizzard was saying that there was a fanbase of  11 million, 500,000 new people have subscribed.

Soon everyone will be playing the game.

The PlayStation Asia site has announced today that it will be releasing the MGS4 Level Pack… soon. As in, we know its coming out. We just don’t know when.

For the Level pack it states 

“Send Sackboy™ into a covert world of stealth and intrigue with this downloadable collection of Metal Gear™ Solid goodies.”

Though, the level packs doesn’t actually contain any levels, just awesome costumes and stickers.

DICE, the developer of Mirrors Edge, has just released the specs of the PC version of the game.

Sega has released a demo of the new Sonic game, Sonic Unleashed today, on Xbox Live

The new game developed by Sonic Team uses the new “Hedgehog” engine (yes, that’s really what its called, and apparently offers “a visually rich next generation look and feel with elements of classic Sonic gameplay mechanics”

Sonic team has been criticised for pretty much every 3D sonic game they have made. Maybe this time will be different. Try the demo for yourself and let us know!

Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi has arrived at the Atari event in London just moments ago to announce that he is hard at work on a new music-based game for Wii.

Atari showed nothing of the game except for a logo of the game “QJ”, but fans of Mizugichi’s work will be expecting a unique rhythmic game with amazing tunes and some unique and amazing visuals, if his previous work is anything to go by. 

I for one, cannot wait to see this.

A new Resistance 2 Advert has been scaring the Irish, by using the Metro Newspaper as an advert for thier new game. The 4 page advert was published and doesn’t even mention that it’s an advert till the last page.

It’s certainly a unique marketing strategy.

After months of waiting, Naughty Dog have finally let everything out of the bag on the sequel to Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. The new game will officially be called “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves”.

The first trailer released shows a beaten-up Nathan Drake trudging through a snowy landscape and picking up an artefact, But thats it.

The next issue of GameInformer, involves a teaser and is a little more helpful.

“Nathan Drake returns with a whole new adventure which revolves around the 13th century explorer Marco Polo and his voyages,” says GameInformer. “The new PlayStation 3 title will add a free climbing mechanic and stealth gameplay. Players can also expect all-new locations, characters and a focus on the game’s story.”

A lengthier trailer will be shown during the 2008 Video Game Awards show, airing on December 14, 2008, at 9:00 PM (pacific – 5am UK) on Spike, says Naughty Dog.
