For those of you who enjoyed 2011′s Deus Ex: Human Revolution (and that should be bloody all of you because it was the mutts clangers), it looks like a sequel might be on the way after Willaims Powell, the trademark attorney’s of Square-Enix, filed a trademark application for something called Deus Ex: Human Defiance.
While Square-Enix has yet to make any sort of announcement pertaining to a new entry in the critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure series, the company has been collaborating with CBS Films and director Scott Derrickson to produce a live action motion picture based on the franchise.
As far as the Human Defiance trademark goes, it could literally be anything at this point; a full blown core entry in the franchise or some sort of mobile spin-off.
Whatever it ends up being, watch this space and we’ll bring you all the details.
