Yes indeed, folks! The PSP still isn’t dead yet as Aksys announced that Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi will be releasing next month on February 19th. Not only is it releasing, but it’s getting an actual retail UMD release as well. Remember UMDs? That mini-CD looking thing with the goofy plastic shell? Yeah. THAT thing.

All said, the game looks pretty cool! The first Hakuoki game, Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, was more of a visual novel and less of a game, but this is a straight up action hack-and-slash where you play through the events of the first game, but also features a second mode where you can alter the story of the first title. For more info on the game itself, hit up the game’s official site.

All launch retail copies of the game will come with a 16 page Character Guide featuring artwork of each of the playable characters. On top of that, if you preorder the game through Amazon, you can score yourself an exclusive bandana featuring all eight playable characters from the game! Hit the jump for a look at the bandana to decide if Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi will be worth your $30 come February 19th!
