If a listing on Amazon is to be believed, the long-awaited version of cult horror adventure Deadly Premonition for the PS3, dubbed Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, is going to the beneficiary of a load of improvements over the 360 release which popped up a few of years back.

Previously, we reported that the game would be the recipient of new content and a new lick of paint, but the Amazon listing goes a step further saying that not only will players get a brand new item; a camera which allows you to take snaps of wherever you go, but also that the game itself will have a “a complete graphical overhaul”, instead of the subtle HD tweaking that was implied by the original blog post in our original article.

It’ll be interesting to see who has been communicating out of their rectum here.

While the game hasn’t even been dated yet, it also appears that Amazon may have let the proverbial feline out of the bag on that one too, with the site indicating that the PS3 exclusive edition of the game will see a release on April 30th for $39.99.
