ATLUS has answered your prayers, dreams, and wishes all at once with their latest announcement. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, the one entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series to never be released in English, is coming to the US in Spring of 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS!

Originally released on the SEGA Saturn, and later on the PlayStation, ATLUS considered releasing the game in the US back in 1997, but were denied by Sony. Because Sony are dicks. The game received an updated port this year on the Nintendo 3DS releasing in Japan back in August and the game is finally, after over 15 years, coming to North America.

Catch a peek at the trailer after the jump and keep updated on all things Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers over at the official ATLUS Soul Hackers website. And preorder the game. God knows with ATLUS behind the release you’ll get some kind of art book or soundtrack. Or both. Probably both.

Good god that game looks awesome. Shame we had to wait so long for it, but at least we’re finally getting it next year! When we get word of a more concrete date, you know we’ll keep you updated! Scream it from the heavens! Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is finally leaving Japan!
