DQVII

Joystiq came through with some awesome info earlier today letting us know that Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest VII is to be remade for the Nintendo 3DS and launched in Japan this coming February! The remake is being handled by Artepiazza, the guys behind the ports of Dragon Quest IV, V and VI which hit the Nintendo DS over the past few years.

The remakes will feature enhanced graphics and an orchestral score by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra! While the release is so far only confirmed for a Japanese release, Square Enix has gone on record saying they are “currently evaluating the title for the Western markets, but nothing has been determined. Please stay tuned for more information.”

If anything, given that Nintendo has been the ones publishing the recent Dragon Quest releases in the US, we might wanna hit them up for info on this. Now, how about giving us Dragon Quest VIII HD for PS3/360/WiiU?
