Turn-based combat, anime-styled visuals and perma-death.  These should are all terms which should be familiar to fans of Nintendo’s long running Fire Emblem series.

Thankfully, the forthcoming entry in the series for the 3DS, is looking to uphold the series’ fine form as you can see in a brand new trailer that was shown during the recent Nintendo Direct stream.

Its a good trailer this one; amply showing off the game’s beautiful cut-scenes and turn-based tactical scrapping, it certainly looks to be shaping up to be one of the better games for the handheld format when it launches sometime next year.
