According to an announcement made on the official EU Playstation Blog, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut will be released on the PS3 sometime next year.
How about that?
Check out the additional features of the director’s cut after the break.
Boasting HD graphics (an amusing thought if you’ve seen the original), a retooled control system and a shiny new additional story mode in addition to the main campaign (designed by the game’s director; Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro no less) Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut looks like to be the ultimate version of one of the most divisive titles in video game history.
The original Deadly Premonition was released in 2010 on the Playstation 3 in Japan only, whereas an Xbox 360 version of the game was released worldwide.
This release marks the first time the Western territories will see the game on Sony’s machine.
Equal parts love-letter to fans of the IP and an update to it, is this on anybody’s list for next year?
Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is expected to arrive sometime early in 2013
