Looks like another variety pack mix of singles hitting Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz next week! Sheryl Crow, Three Days Grace, and a Save Ferris cover all hitting the store on Tuesday. Also, this post is up late because I slept in. Yay for being behind!
Get the full details as well as the usual Rock Band Network info after the jump!
Rock Band DLC for 10/16
- Save Ferris – Come on Eileen
- Sheryl Crow – All I Wanna Do
- Three Days Grace – Animal I Have Become
All tracks will run the standard $1.99 on PlayStation 3, 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, and 200 Wii Points on the Wii. The Save Ferris track is the lucky winner of the weekly pro guitar upgrade for an additional $.99/80 MSP/100 Wii Points.
On top of that, the PS3 will see the following Rock Band Network tracks on Tuesday. All tracks are $1.99 unless otherwise noted.
- Chaotrope – Scarred ($.99)
- Devin Townsend – Solar Winds ($.99)
- Jerry Naylor – Not Fade Away
- John Parr – Under a Raging Moon
- Kandia – Into Your Hands
Lastly, we saw the following tracks hit the Rock Band Network this past week on the Xbox 360. A smaller week with only 5 songs, but some decent stuff there. All tracks cost 160 Microsoft Points unless otherwise noted.
- The Bunny The Bear – Lonely
- Emmure – Cross Over Attack
- Queit Company – How Do You Do It?
- Sin Dirección – Para Ti
- Tub Ring – Stop This (NOW!)
Overall, I’d say it’s a pretty solid week. Love that Sheryl Crow song and I’m a big fan of Three Days Grace as I’ve seen them in concert a good number of times, usually with local rock group Breaking Benjamin, who I absolutely love.
Gotta say it’s weird to see a “Come on Eileen” cover and not the original by Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Maybe it was a licensing thing as Harmonix usually goes by the mantra “Licensing is Hard” when things seem to go awry. Hopefully the cover is fun to play, but based on the preview video below, I’m probably going to throw my guitar out the window playing it…
We leave you with the requisite preview video from Harmonix and RockBandAide!
