Greenlight

It appears that the world has grown tired of the flood of garbage games that have cluttered up Steam Greenlight since it’s launch. What started as a great way for indie developers to get their games out to a large audience without much hassle has quickly devolved into a flood of flash games, parody games, and outright garbage games. To remedy the situation, Valve is instituting a $100 fee to be able to post games to Steam Greenlight. The upside? 100% of the funds paid will go directly to Child’s Play. So not only will this cut down on idiots posting dumb crap on Greenlight making it hard to find REAL games, it also helps an awesome charity!
