Every bit the proof of concept title for the Wii U as Wii Sports and Wii Play were for the Wii back in 2006, NintendoLand encompasses a smattering of minigames themed on various Nintendo IP.
As you might reasonably expect, those minigames, besides being quite fun to play, are built to individually target the strengths of the various control input methods that the Wii U offers. To that end, check out the trailer after the jump to see how each mini-game is played.
As revealed earlier, NintendoLand will come free with the Premium/Deluxe Wii U hardware packs.
The various mini-games, or ‘attractions’ as the big ‘N’ calls them are listed below:
- The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest
- Pikmin Adventure
- Metroid Blast
- Mario Chase
- Luigi’s Ghost Mansion
- Animal Crossing: Sweet Days
- Yoshi’s Fruit Cart
- Octopus Dance
- Donkey Kong’s Crash Course
- Takamaru’s Ninja Castle
- Captain Falcon’s Twister Race
- Balloon Trip Breeze
The trailer is embedded below.
NintendoLand is a Wii U Exclusive and will launch on the same day as the console; November 18th in North America and November 30th in Europe.
