It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to see what Nintendo has in store for us in their weekly eShop update! Three new games for the 3DS eShop and even the Virtual Console on the Wii gets some love. You hear that? Nintendo remembers they have the Wii to put games on!

This week’s 3DS eShop update includes:

• Balloon Pop Remix – Use your stylus to pop balloons in this new take on the Balloon Pop franchise – $7.99
• Heyawake by Nikoli – A whole new style of Sudoku puzzles by Nikoli, who gave the world-famous puzzle it’s name. Includes 50 puzzles. – $7.99
• Crazy Hunter – Drive a motorboat, go fishing with a crane, build a tower… You know what, I watched the trailer video and I still don’t know how the hell to explain it. It looks insanely odd. – $4.99 (Also available on the Nintendo DSi Shop for 500 Nintendo Points)

Amazingly, the Wii actually gets some love this week as well with a new Super Nintendo Virtual Console title!

• Prince of Persia – Escape the dungeon, kick Jaffar’s ass, rescue the Princess. Old school Prince of Persia awesomeness! – 800 Wii Points

There you have it, a pretty decent week of Nintendo eShop releases which sees the Virtual Console for the Wii finally get a little bit of love. Now if only we could get EarthBound…. *sigh*
