After the complete lack of information on NBA Live 13, the game not being shown at E3, and the fact that there wasn’t an NBA Elite 11 or NBA Somethingwhatever 12, it should come as no surprise that EA has decided to once again scrap their yearly basketball release on Xbox 360 and PS3 and instead focus on making the best game they can. Maybe for next year? Who knows. Looks like you’ll once again have to go with 2K Sports to get your hooperball fix this year!

Personally, I haven’t really played an NBA Live game since NBA Live 96 on the SNES. That game was great. Tim Hardaway was the best person too. All his stats were at 0 since he didn’t play the previous year or something and he could drain a 3 from pretty much anywhere. A team full of Tim Hardaways was the easy road to the championship in that game!
