Really? I see one of my co-writers Tweet about this and he doesn’t post a story? Lazy son of a….
The news came out today from Bioware that the full Mass Effect Trilogy will be getting re-released in a nice Collector’s package this coming November on the Xbox 360 and the PC. November 6th to be exact, but that’s in the title so it’s getting redundant here. The collection will release at a “later date” for the PlayStation 3.
The package will include all three games in a premium foil box with exclusive artwork and a snazzy digipack case for all of the discs. The game is also compatible with all other Mass Effect discs, so your save files SHOULD still work and Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will work between the two releases as well. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like any DLC is included, but that would involve them not being able to sell anything else to you, right? Also, while a PS3 release date hasn’t been named yet, this marks the very first time that the original Mass Effect will be available to purchase on that system, so you PS3 players can finally enjoy that game! No word on a Wii U version either.
Sounds like it can be a pretty sweet package if the price is right! Anybody interested in picking up this collection to either enjoy the series for the first time, or to just sit on the shelf next to your other Mass Effect games because you, like me, are a consumer whore? I know that’s why I’M going to get it!

Dang! I was working on making a news post for this very thing, but am at my job and couldn’t get mine done before you. You’re just a machine at keeping this site going, sir.
@Zachary Lyons, Ha. I just post what I think is interesting if nobody else does! :D
I deserve a raise!
@Joe Cammisa, A RAISE YOU SHALL HAVE
@Kyle Gaddo, will a 20% raise on $0 get me anything? I’ll settle for Blitz Mittz and a roll of pennies to throw at my cats.
