The free-to-play MMO based on the Marvel universe, will go into closed beta on October 1st this year according to its developer, Gazillion Entertainment.

Sign ups for the closed beta of Marvel Heroes has already started and if you fancy it, you can get in on the action here.

Marvel Heroes is a hack and slash title in the classic Diablo mould which crucially allows you to play as one of the titular Marvel heroes and not as some faceless wannabe.  The game does allow micro-transactions, but it does not prevent you from seeing everything the game has to offer; it’ll just take you a lot little longer thats all.

A quick question though, if you choose Tony Stark and decide to roleplay him all proper like by acting like a total asshat to everybody online, should you be able to be reported for griefing or abusive behaviour?

Nah.
