After the earlier announcement that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is indeed a real thing, Square-Enix has decided to grace us with a debut trailer for the title; its purpose inclined to showcasing the title’s brand new HD veneer.

The collection itself contains three titles from the heralded IP, inclusive of the original Kingdom Hearts seen on PS2, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories which was converted to PS2 and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days which originally found a home on the Nintendo DS.

If the trailer embedded below is any indication, then Square-Enix have done a good job smoothing out the edges and upping the resolution to create a much more cleaner look that was perhaps lacking all those years ago.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX releases sometime in 2013, exclusively for the Playstation 3 in Japan.  A western release will likely follow.
