In today’s earlier review of the new PSN/XBLA game Double Dragon Neon by WayForward, I made mention of the soundtrack and audio work in the game being one of the definite high points in the game and it makes me incredibly happy to report that the entire soundtrack can be downloaded for free over at Jake “virt” Kaufman’s Bandcamp site! All 25 game tracks as well as all 20 mixtape tunes are available at a “name your own cost” price. Needless to say as cool as it is to get it all for free, I highly recommend everybody tossing a few bucks his way for the fantastic job he did on the soundtrack. Grab it today, and while you’re there, check out his other amazing soundtracks for games like Mighty Switch Force and Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, among others as well as checking out his personal site for even more great music!

Thanks for linking this! I was looking to see if it was available and this is more than I hoped for. Tossed him a few bones for his outstanding effort. Everybody should get this!
@EvangM, He’s an awesome guy and it’s good to hear you tossed him a few bucks. What’d you think of the game? Have you checked out my review of it?
@Joe Cammisa,
Been playing it for 3 days now, just read your review last night. I think it’s surprisingly excellent and reminds me of the fun I had playing Scott Pilgrim. I only wish they had online out of the box, it could have some staying power with that included. Hopefully that comes along in 2 weeks or less, before people start forgetting about this game. I got a few other friends playing it and we’re all waiting for online.
@EvangM, Yeah. If there was online at launch, I’d probably have been closer to giving it a 9 than the 8 I gave it. I was actually fluctuating between 7 and 8, but I felt the pure fun and replayability made up for the short length. It’s like X-Men Arcade and The Simpsons Arcade. You can beat it in 20 minutes, but you want to play it over and over.
Then again, they also had online at launch…
I certainly hope the patch comes sooner than later!
