After probably the crappiest and most unimpressive announcement ever at E3 2012, (we got a logo. That was it.) everybody was looking to this year’s Gamescom for something, anything on Call of Duty‘s Playstation Vita debut.
Well now, we have a trailer courtesy of Sony and publisher Activision.
Due to arrive in November, the game will be set between the previous Black Ops title and the forthcoming one. As well as single-player missions, the game is touted to allow four vs. four multiplayer over WiFi with unique maps to the Vita game and with two modes announced so far; Kill Confirmed and Team Deathmatch.
It might not be the most original title in the world (and certainly not the best looking Vita title either; that’s for sure), but the presence of Call of Duty on the Vita can only be boon to Sony. One that they sorely need now that they’ve re-embarked on their campaign to reiterate the relevancy of the Vita to the masses.
The trailer is below:
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is due out exclusivity on Playstation Vita sometime this November. A Playstation Vita hardware bundle containing the game is also due to arrive at around the same time.
